BARTLETT RECREATION DEPARTMENT Fall Sports and Activities Information
All Sports and after school activities registration is online at our new website bartlettnh.myrec.com
registration for sports closes on Thursday September 10th so don’t delay
FIELD HOCKEY
Bartlett Field hockey is open for girls in grade 3 to 6th. We will be starting on Monday September 14th. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays 3:20-4:40pm. There are 2 Thursdays practices.
Game schedule will be given out and can also be found on our website.
Games are played at 5pm or 5:30pm.
Participants need a field hockey stick, field hockey goggles and shin pads. If you are new to field hockey or have trouble purchasing these items, we do have equipment to loan out.
SOCCER
Bartlett Recreation is offering 3 Soccer's program this fall.
K/1 Skills and drills will be held on Tuesdays starting September 15th. It will run until October 27th. Practices will be held from 3:20pm-4:40pm in the JBES front field. We are still looking for a coach so the day may change. Players need to wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
2/3 Skills and Drills will be held on Mondays starting September 14th. It will run until October 26th. Practice will be held from 3:20pm-4:40pm in the JBES side field. Players need to wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
Grades 4-6 travel soccer team practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:20-4:40pm in the JBES side field. Games will be held at 5pm and 5:30pm. The full schedule can be found on our website. Players need to wear cleats, shin pads and bring a water bottle.
There is a late bus available Monday-Thursday. It leaves the school at 4:45pm
The arrival time for them to get to the stop will vary depending on how many children use the late bus. We can provide an approximate time if you would like.
There is no late bus on PLC Days
MT BIKING CLUB
Mt Biking Club is open to Grades 4th to 8th. It will start on Monday September 14th,
3:30 to 4:45pm.
Meet at the Morrell Community Complex Bike Trails the first week.
We ask that a parent attend the first few times if your child is in 4th grade and new to Mt. biking. This is to ensure that they can sustain the entire time.
We do have a bike loaner program if your child needs one to borrow. We would loan it out for the 6 weeks. We also have some helmets available as well.
Plans for the fall session will be posted soon. Parents are responsible for providing their own transportation. No child should be riding from the school to the Morrell Family Complex.
Rt 302 is too dangerous.
ADVENTURE KIDS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Adventure kids program is open for children from kindergarten to Grade 5 Monday-Thursday.
There are NO snacks provided, so please make sure you pack some snacks for them. It will be starting on Monday September 14th. We start right after school and base our program out of the cafeteria.
Pick up is at 4:45. There is a late bus available. Late bus leaves at 4:45. The arrival time for them to get to the stop will vary depending on how many children use the late bus. We can provide an approximate time if you would like. There is no late bus available on Wednesdays PLC Days.
The cost is $8 a day, please fill out all the days and pay for them all at the beginning of the month. This will allow us to staff properly. The cost for each additional sibling is $5 per day.
PLC AFTER SCHOOL CARE
PLC after school care is from 1:15pm-3:15pm. Parent pick up is at 3:15 from the cafeteria. The cost is $8 a day. There is no 3:15pm or late bus on PLC Days
